“Interactive Perthes Wall Map World and USA”
provides ten maps for presentations and
educational purposes – three political and
two physical maps for the U.S. and for the World.

The maps are designed for three levels of complexity: elementary, intermediate and advanced. The maps
can be projected on a screen, used on an interactive
whiteboard and/or on desktop.

Physical Map

Maps can be loaded onto the screen by clicking on the thumbnail. After the map is loaded, users can zoom in and pan across maps on the screen using the movable control bar on the window. The scroll wheel of your computer mouse and the panning-hand tool located in the menu bar can also be used to zoom and pan.

Political Map – with legend concentrated on settlements

A tab titled “Map Layers” is located on the right side of the screen. By click on the tab a window with all available layers for the selected map will appear on the screen. This allows to create individual maps by subtracting or adding layers.

The drawing tool with five colors and four pencil-widths allows users to highlight important elements of the map and/or to write on it. Those markings can be deleted later.

Useful for your lessons: the map on the screen can be exported as a .jpg-file, and for example placed in a Word document or into a PowerPoint presentation. This function enables users to create individual worksheets or presentations.
